Overland Park police are asking for help identifying a man and woman after shots were fired Monday evening inside a Walmart near Interstate 35 and 75th Street.According to a police spokesman, the shooting happened about 5:15 p.m. when two people who apparently knew each other got into an argument near one of the checkout lines.Police said one man pulled a gun from his waistband and fired shots at the other person.Authorities said the man who fired the shots and a woman he was with ran out of the store and drove off in a silver Hyundai Sedan with Kansas temporary tags. They were last seen heading north on I-35, police said.No one was hurt in the shooting.Police said some customers ran out of the store; some sought cover in a bathroom. They were still sheltering in place when police arrived, a police spokesman said.Authorities said that Walmart is closed at this time for the investigation.No arrests have been made.Anyone with information on what happened is asked to call to the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
