Reports say coronavirus contributed to the demise of actress and Des Moines native Cloris Leachman, however was not the underlying trigger. People Magazine experiences the San Diego County Medical Examiner stated Leachman died of a stroke and coronavirus was a major situation that contributed to her demise. Leachman died Jan. 27 at her residence in California on the age of 94. She was born in Des Moines and was a legend in native theater earlier than transferring to Hollywood the place she turned an award-winning actress. She was recognized for her roles on the “Mary Tyler Moore Show” and in “Young Frankenstein.”
