Kwon Yontae, 59, and Lim Seung Il, 39, had been apprehended in Barangay Balabag via staff of the Bureau of Immigration (BI)’s fugitive seek unit, Korean National Police Agency and Malay police.
Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morante issued the challenge orders on Thursday.
Lt. Col. Don Dicksie de Dios, Malay police leader, stated Kwon used to be charged with fraud in South Korea whilst Lim is going through fees for mob attack.
Kwon has been residing in Boracay since 2016.
Both Kwon and Lim have submit companies at the island, which have been closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The two had been delivered to the Malay police station for documentation earlier than their turnover to the BI for deportation.
